Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 28, 2026
MerriMuse is being built to offer useful lifestyle ideas with appropriate commercial recommendations. This page explains how affiliate links and other commercial relationships are handled when they appear on the website.
What an affiliate link means
An affiliate link can allow MerriMuse to earn a commission when a reader follows the link and makes a qualifying purchase or takes another qualifying action. The merchant or affiliate program sets the eligibility rules.
A commission does not make an item suitable for everyone. It also does not mean that every link on the website is an affiliate link. We identify a commercial relationship where readers can see it near the relevant recommendation.
Our approach to recommendations
Products should help readers accomplish the purpose of an article. A recommendation should explain relevant selection criteria, suitability, limitations, and alternatives. We do not treat an informational article as a reason to add unrelated shopping links.
We do not claim to have purchased, owned, or tested a product without evidence. A comparison based on specifications and documented research is different from a hands on test. Our Editorial Policy describes that distinction.
A commercial relationship should not hide a meaningful drawback or turn an unsupported claim into a fact. We do not promise that a purchase will produce a particular result.
Amazon links
Where Amazon Associates links appear, the following disclosure applies: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
This statement does not mean that Amazon endorses MerriMuse or has tested our content. Amazon controls its own product listings, purchase terms, and commission rules. The applicable Amazon marketplace and the individual product destination matter.
Affiliate setup for this new website is still being prepared. Publishing this disclosure does not mean that every recommendation already contains an active affiliate link.
Sponsored content and supplied products
If a brand pays for content or provides a product or another benefit that is relevant to a recommendation, that relationship should be disclosed alongside the content. A general disclosure page is not a substitute for making a particular relationship clear.
Sponsored content and affiliate recommendations are not the same arrangement. We will identify the type of relationship rather than use a vague label that leaves readers guessing.
Before you buy
Check the merchant’s current price, availability, specifications, delivery charges, and return terms. Make sure the exact item and variant suit your needs. Details can change after an article is published.
Your purchase is made with the merchant, not MerriMuse. External websites have their own privacy and tracking practices, as explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
